SEPTEMBER 22 = RACEDAY | THE BREIAL MILE

16:00-16:50: PICK UP START NUMBER

  • Pick up your start number at the secretariat at Kongen Marina. Namedrop your name and start number to pick up your start number.
  • Delicious tunes from Dj Shrimp Shady create a cozy atmosphere
  • Luggage storage is at your own risk at Kongen Marina. There will be DAB personnel at Kongen during the entire event.

    17:00: START "THE BREIAL MILE"

    • Line-up at “SOLOMON’S ARCH”
    • START NOSE BLOW (unisex) starts first - we count them down together

    • START MEN & WOMEN: line-up by estimated finish time - fastest first:

      Coach Lars Haugvad paces in sub 1 hour
      • Savage XXX paces on sub 01:15
      • Speed phantom YYY paces at sub 01:30
      • The PACERS run in yellow DAB speed vests

      NB! The race takes place on public walkways and in traffic - please be considerate of all road users (especially the soft ones). We want/require that everyone completes the race in full. Smile and wave to all dog handlers, be considerate of all kids, strollers/baby mamas/baby daddies, and take extra good care of the elderly. Please.

      Where does the trail go?

      The course is 14.50 km, a kilometre. Total elevation gain 300 meters, and the surface is hard-packed gravel road and asphalt.       17:45-19:00: FINISH

      Well done! After finishing, go to the secretariat, log your time (show your watch or strava), and pick up your well-deserved Finisher tee (size S-XL).

      17:45-21:00: AFTERRUN & SPRING TO ROCKEFELLER

      The godfathers of “The Breiale Mile” will participate - there will be a prize giving ceremony at 19:00, with prizes from Salomon for the podium in all classes (nose breath, women, men).

      Music:

      Dj Shrimp Shady plays tunes, you have fun and brag about your performance to fans and friends.

      Food & Beverage:

      DAB Ultra Skaters x Kongen Marina have composed a delicious menu for all runners and hang-arounds - with a playful DAB bat for the occasion.

      9pm: ORAL BEE, MR PIMP LOTION & BIG ICE @Rockefeller

      We round off - and turn our noses towards Rockefeller Music Hall - there is no public transport. Book your transport well in advance
