DAB 100K INVITATIONAL 2024 | RACE INFO

We are counting down to the start of the race next Saturday, here is some simple info to get you 110% ready for the event. We are looking forward to another eventful day in Linderudkollen!

The 2024 edition counts over 40 registered skiers divided into four different distances - a significant increase from the previous year. We are excited to invite you to our exciting sports event in Linderudkollen, Saturday 6th April!

Arrival and number collection:

• It is advisable to drive to the race - we have ensured good parking coverage (well beyond the current parking norm in Oslo Municipality). https://maps.app.goo.gl/f2nPydNgpqhBRcndA 
• "Get your start number in Linderudkollen before starting. You will find your start number in basecamp at the long table. Remember, you are responsible for finding your start number. We will provide the correct number of safety pins (we promise).
• The race management recommends that you do any heavy toilet visits before arriving at Linderudkollen. Janteloppet has emptied the eastern market of HIBAS, so we will have to make do with Imodium and litter in the forest. Remember to clean up after yourself <3
• The course: you can go wherever you want! Most people will stick to the following route, lap by lap: https://strava.app.link/agkoFnTCeIb 

Starting times:

• DAB100K: The Dawn Masters race starts at 05:30
• DAB50K: Sunrise racing at its best. Race start at 08:00
• The Breiale Mile: 14:50KM: A unique race that starts at 11:00, perfect for those who love the calm of the morning, Breial style & Breial mile
• MensenMila: 10KM. A race that reinforces our focus on women's health and activity. Race start at 11:00.

Remember your headlamp until the start at 05:30.

Timing:

• As you are registered for DAB100, you are aware that this is done low-key/underground.
• Your own Strava is your official timer. Mao: Remember to keep your watch fully charged :) You will provide your finishing time to the secretariat after finishing your distance.
• Only effective time counts; you can take as many breaks as you want, but you must finish before the cut off at 2:00 PM.

During the race:

• DJ Hard Richard plays tunes throughout the day :)
• The Salomon goal arch should be passed as often as possible - it gives the event an international feel. Absolutely magical, in fact.
• Fuel of Norway will provide 3 gels to each participant during the race, in addition you can buy Fuel of Norway gels+bars at a very nice price (30 NOK/piece) at the race.
• It is also possible to push in bowls from our regular bowl sponsor.
• RedBull is providing extra wings

After the finish line

• DAB will provide simple refreshments (simple barbecue, some soft drinks and chips)
• Joint photography
• Prize giving at 1:30 PM
• If you want a few sips for après-ski, you must bring your own - we have not had time to arrange a mobile bar allowance (we are working on this for the 2025 edition)
