WE DONATED 60,000 KRONER TO ACTIVE AGAINST CANCER – THANK YOU FOR A RAW DAB INVITATIONAL!

Monday evening we stood there – in the middle of the floor of the Swix Flagship Store at SNØ – and got to do something that really means something: present a donation of 60,000 kroner to Aktiv mot Kreft.

It was our own Lars Haugvad (DAB member, Coach, physio and Swix/AMK ambassador) who took the microphone and presented the gift during the Swix Summer Kickoff . Full house. Good atmosphere. And an evening filled with news, inspiration and people who are passionate about more than just training.

The money comes from the implementation of the DAB Invitational 2025 – our own freestyle cross-country race where pushing boundaries, community and commitment merge in snow and good atmosphere. It's true DAB style: high-fives, big smiles and heart palpitations for a good cause.

Zalaris and Vest Gulv partnered up and made it possible to elevate this from cool to powerful. You are gold. Without you – no presentation.

We at DAB Ultra Skaters believe in training with meaning. In using your body to do something good. Giving back, supporting and making a difference – it's just as important as high pace or winning segments.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to start. Thank you to everyone who cheered, greased skis, drank coffee and bought burgers and buns. Thank you for allowing us to use the sport we love to support an organization we believe in.

This is the beginning. We're not done. We've only just begun!
